Good book!! Very important for us to remember that our health is valuable compare to others.Age is not a barrier to be healthy.Lets start enhancing our brain . Recommended.
I am unable to express how awesome this book really is! Reader will immerse of journey deep into the life of the main Character (Beth Harmon); the early development if her career and considered as prodigy child up until her fame debut on international level. I love to learn that a genius will always face different level of challenges in life. Highly recommended especially for those that already watch the series at Netflix and need more details of the story.
I buy this book last month and only manage to read half of this book up to date. Anyways, even in half completion, I can assure you that this is a very good book. Duckworth explore a quality that rarily talked by others-grit, and how this quality could change our life. Her concepts of grit and her recent projects on this quality made this book much more convincing to read. Highly recommended!
Basically, this book is about the assumptions and mistakes we make when dealing with people we don’t know. The authors use a few real case study to explain and argue in details about his opinion on what it should be done. Overall, it is a good book for us to read and learn on how we should do before making any interaction with strangers.
This is the second graphic novel in the "Kampung Boy" series. Mat is now a young adult living in Ipoh, the city, and going to school. Overall, it's a fun, fast read and I enjoyed learning more about the life of this young man.
Terbaik ahh!! Siri komik ni dah bertahun keluar tapi still kelakar macam dulu.
Author shared, the main idea of the bad things have more power to influence us than good things. We will be more aware on losing something that would cause others. By any meaning, we need to be focuses on the good things. Criticism will motivate us to change more than others. Inside the book, a lot of good advice on dealing with negative people.
The language is pretty simple and will stick with all kinds of reader till the end. The flow is neat, clear and fast paced as a few characters are pretty mysterious and then there's some mystery element to the plot. The characters are amazingly well-developed.
I love this series so much and I feel truly connected to the all characters. Gregory's character is definitely one of my most favorite male character in this series; as he believes in true love. The story is well written, fun, lighthearted and give you the happy ending.
This book is about Chika a little girl who has a very serious disease.I wish i could have met Chika. She had make me laughing and crying all through the book. Finding Chika has touched my heart and my soul. It is a sad but beautiful reads!
Excellent book that really gets into some practices that we've all read about, but not fully understood what makes them work. For example: 2 pizza teams. These sound great, but only work when the teams can function independently and don't rely on other teams. Instead of increasing communication, AMZN reduced it. There is great history here, and a good look at AMZN's core practices. But the book also shows that you just can't introduce ideas (2 pizza teams, Single Threaded Leadership, 6 pg memo's) without the culture and structure that allow them to work. With Andy Jassy's recent promotion it's good to read about the genesis of AWS. The book is well written and meaty - not a lot of old bromides and biz speak.
Good read for anyone who wants to become successful. I read it in a couple of days on the train. I learned quite a few things, but I wish there were more examples in the book, and a little more information about the author's career.
Good Boss, Bad Boss teaches the art and science of practical leadership for the 21st century. There are so many great principles and ideas to follow, backed up by real data and of course every boss should read and understand it.
Excellent information. Practical and to the point. Loved that recommendations were explained by field expert in layman's terms - well but concisely. Very informative and easy to tailor, giving food for thought to cost considerations for future growth.
