This book explains human personality using 4 colours type; Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. The author also teaches a specific method on how to deal with these types of people; from body language to handling conflict, everyone should read this book. If you are familiar with Florence Littauer "personality Plus" book, you should get this book to enhance your comprehension of human behaviour. Highly recommended!
Author did categorized the people in 4 category to easier the readers to understand better. Those 4 character is helping each other needs to complete a task/organization. This book is about self awareness and about others that you might wanted to know about. Some shared scenarios that make it laughable in the books.
I adore this book. Good explanations for things we question about in life, such as family, love, marriage, happiness, and age.
The best person to teach about the meaning and the goal of life is a person that are about to die. This concept is the main theme for this book. Throughout the stories, you will learn on how Morrie's experiences shape his behaviour and how he views his life differently from others. Heartbreaking yet motivational stories. Highly recommended!
How to Win Friends and Influence People
It is a comprehensive book on noise with thorough breakdown in the types of noise, why noise reduction is important, and the six decision hygiene principles which I found to be very relevant and some of which can be easily incorporated to my project management work. I suppose people who are interested in strategic thinking/decision making might like to read this book too.
This is, I guess, my 5th copy of the book. My colleagues gifted me my first copy way back in 2000 and I absolutely fell in love with it. I read it every time before the beginning of a new semester as it reminds me of the meaning of life and what values I should be teaching my students. I have give this book as a present to many students as I know they will benefit from it. Please read it, you will definitely love it
The struggle between obtaining power and the need for more is brilliantly written. The events unfold in a brilliantly detailed manner, and the overall narrative develops and matures. I was pleased to learn about this amazing author and read her works.
This book was so amazing. Alina is such a strong, intelligent main character and she grew so much throughout the story. The novel is fast-paced and exciting, I couldn't put it down.
It's the sort of book that reminds you of life lessons you likely knew but never connected. It touches upon basic things that we will do that will make enormous contrasts in our lives. The books moves at a great pace and the never gets to be boring as peachy books tend to be. A must perused and great suggested.
What a great journey reading this book. The feeling reading for first time and second time won't be the same.
At more than 750 pages, this is just volume one of Obama's presidential memoirs. He takes readers behind the scenes from his childhood through the raid to kill Osama bin Laden. And then it just abruptly ends, leaving us to anticipate the next installment. The parts I appreciated most were glimpses at his family life, particularly how he spent time with his wife and daughters in the White House. Those segments highlight cracks and vulnerabilities in his polished veneer, revealing the man behind the rhetoric. On the whole, I view presidential memoirs as historical documents and try not to allow my political leanings to color my judgment on them.
The book is worth the time and money we spent for the books. This book is about black president who ruled the the America,a land that its majority is conquered by white citizens. He played a great role in The financial crisis, racism crisis and also the military combat of the country. He had simply said that leadership looks easily from the television but it needed greater support for Barack Obama. I'm truly happy that MPH had stock of this book while other stores were running low on it.
This book is all about Michelle Obama who grew up poor and black on South Side of Chicago, about her marriage and the struggles she had to maintain it together, about motherhood, about being thrown into an amazing and terrifying position.
I enjoyed reading her story from her perspective. A window into her life so far, Michelle Obama gives us insightful, honest memories. From growing up until becoming White House residence, her story is unique and motivational. If you admire her, you will like this book.
