Fast Indian Cooking with Sapna
Based on the new cooking series of the same name on the Asian Food Channel, Fast Indian Cooking with Sapna, this book by MPH Group Publishing is right for foodies all over! Born from the serendipitous friendship between cookbook author and chef Sapna Anand and the founders of the show’s producer, Wildsnapper TV, the series took four years to come to fruition. The aim was to introduce Sapna’s brand of Indian fusion food to the world.
Fast Indian Cooking with Sapna brings us fast and easy-to-prepare recipes, many of which are inspired by the author’s memories of food from her childhood, her travels, and her life as a mother. Each recipe showcases Sapna’s trademark modern Indian cooking, which marries techniques in Western gastronomy and Indian culinary traditions. Readers will soon learn there’s more to Indian cuisine than just curries, spices and chillies, which is what she hopes to achieve.

Sapna Anand's book is a beautifully crafted work of art, with recipes that actually WORK and taste fantastic. Usually Indian and Asian cooking require an inordinate amount of preparation, but she has managed to simplify the recipes without compromising the complex flavours associated with Indian cooking. Although she is a guest residing in Malaysia, we are so proud that she has chosen to publish this book here in Malaysia. Fabulous photography as well!!!! My personal favourite dish is the Achari Chicken Tart which I've made numerous times, and has always been a hit
