Simply love the book about our national historian. In this book, he shared with us his early life and his journey into academic life in post-
independence Malaysia. He contributes so much in post-independence study of history in modern Malaysia. Prof Khoo was one of those who had drafted the principles of the Rukun Negara before they were declared on Aug 31, 1970. Even after he retired in 1992 from his academic position, people still came to seek for his opinions on certain topics.
Khoo Kay Kim – who is dead, but his deeds live on.
