This picture book tells the true story of how Jo Leen became a friend of dusky langurs in Penang.

A wildlife researcher and environmental educator, Jo Leen is committed to to the peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife. This commitment led her to spending approximately six years studying the life of an endangered primate species - dusky langurs (Trachypithecus obscurus) - in the forests of Penang, Malaysia. See how Jo Leen and her team worked against all odds to set up the Langur Project Penang (LPP), and in establishing the first urban canopy bridge in Malaysia, thus allowing the dusky langurs and other arboreal wildlife of Penang to safely travel across car-filled motorways.
