As a Creative Designer, you will responsible for creating an eye-catching visuals concept design for MPH promotions, online, offline, digital, develop, improve and suggesting the in-store design and décor concepts based on marketing thematic plans, and creating video content for social media, content, and blog marketing.

This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the marketing and merchandising teams to create compelling visual content that aligns with the store's brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a captivating visual campaign that aligns with marketing promotion themes, for retail designer to be adapted into various sizes for print and distribution across all retail stores.
  • Create visually appealing designs based on marketing material thematic to various sizes and consistent MPH branding visual identity across all social media platforms.
  • Create and design the visual elements of MPH Online website and Mobile App such as banner, icon and layout. Ensuring that it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines and mobile devices.
  • Assist and create engaging photo / video content for marketing purposes, including social media, advertising, and website promotion.
  • Design visually appealing and effective email marketing campaign that engage the targeted audience include email template, graphics and mobile friendly and optimized emails.
  • Collaborate with marketing team, graphic designers and copywriters to create eye-catching materials for different target audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create and execute effective appeal design artwork and concepts
  • Maintain, manage, update, develop and creating appealing a visually appealing layout design, such as icons, banner, collections and update the look during festive seasons to enhance user experience.
  • Produce imaginative character illustrations to captivate online and offline audiences, for use in various marketing materials.

Key Requirement:

  • Diploma / Degree in Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft office, or Sketch, Figma, Sketchup an advantage.
  • Knowledge of typography, photography, colour theory, layout design, and composition.
  • Ability to create and edit images, graphics, animate and videos. Understanding of responsive design, web and mobile application standards.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to customer’s enquiry / complaints received via emails, chats and/or phone calls
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding book availability, store hours, promotions, and general information.
  • Reply to chats sent via the Company’s FB/Instagram page and customer’s chat on Company’s Shopee / TikTok platform.
  • Assist with online orders, shipping queries, and tracking information when needed.
  • Coordinate with the in-store team for stock checks and order fulfilment.

Key Requirement:

  • At least an SPM holder or higher.
  • Previous experience in customer service or call center environments is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good computer skills
  • Enthusiasm for books and literature will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers at our store with book inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.
  • Attend to and resolve customer inquiries or complaints made via email, chats, and phone calls.
  • Monitor and respond to online inquiries via Facebook, Instagram, Google, Shopee, and TikTok platforms.
  • Update customers on store promotions and events.
  • Constantly interact with internal parties to ensure all issues and complaints are addressed.
  • Provide knowledgeable book recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Stay informed about new book releases, store promotions and upcoming events.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in books or similar industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Willingness to work on shifts (day, evening, or night) and availability to work overtime as and when needed.
  • Enthusiasm for books and literature will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide good customer service, including answering questions about products and locating the products on the shelves.
  2. Recommending additional titles based on customer interest.
  3. Build strong relationships with customers through personalized service.
  4. Attending inquiries from customers or other outlets via phone calls.
  5. Frequent housekeeping, products displayed at the right shelves/locations, prominently display promotional items.
  6. Maintain and stay updated on products, sales, and promotions.
  7. Be alert to outlet surroundings to prevent any incidents, e.g., shoplifting.
  8. Gift-wrapping services. 

Requirements:

  1. SPM or Diploma/Degree in Retail or Business Management.
  2. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  3. Proficiency in English and Malay.
  4. Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Customer-service-focused.
  6. Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality.
  7. Flexible enough to work various shifts, weekends and public holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan daily sales, department targets and monitor the progress regularly.
  • Monitor and control outlet’s expenses, ensure fast product replenishment and /or returning unproductive products.
  • Frequent housekeeping, ensure that all products are displayed at the right locations, and prominently display promotional items.
  • Provide good customer service, including answering questions about products, and recommending additional titles based on customers’ interests.
  • Handling customers’ complaints in a professional manner.
  • Support the marketing team with in-store promotions, social media updates, and customer outreach.
  • Supervise or be involved directly in outlet’s day-to-day operational duties including cashiering, sales checking, cash banking, stock receiving and processing, and outlet maintenance and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Retail or Business Management or any related field.
  • Prior experience in books (especially non-fiction) or similar industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Willingness to work on shifts (day, evening, or night shifts) and availability to work overtime as and when needed.
  • Enthusiasm for books and literature will be an added advantage.
