There is a quality to his stories and characters that never fails to draw me in . Murakami will be one of my favorite authors.

One sheep, two sheep, all sheep

This is the first book Murakami wrote as a full-time novelist, and his third overall. The story is brilliantly odd and fun, the characterizations are moving, and the descriptions of actions, places, thoughts, etc. Are subtle yet tack sharp and imbued with an originality that never feels forced.

This is the third Murakami books that I read and I really enjoyed it. Typical Murakami book that makes you question about everything and to me, a little things in the book is like a giveaway hint. And I find it quite relatable since the book set up in the modern days. So, do include this book if you want to start the (hyped) Murakami's marathon.
