What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?
The explosive conclusion to Veronica Roth's #1 New York Times bestselling Divergent Trilogy reveals the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.
Roth definitely did not disappoint in Allegiant. The story picks up from where Insurgent ended and the pace to the final pages was definitely, fast, explosive and emotional. A fitting end - I might add. But apart from that, I felt cheated when Roth decided to introduce us to Tobias' voice. While it did add to the dynamics of the story, I felt that Roth's portrayal of Tobias fell short of my expectations. (She was possibly working on the Tobias' short stories at the time. FYI, the short stories are currently only available as e-books. A printed compilation (US edition: 9780007560691; UK edition: 9780062285683) will only be available in July this year!) Overall, it was an amazing story, from start to finish. Definitely, worth it.
