Hyper-talkative Aurora and non-vocal Frenchie, both eleven, share a special friendship despite his never having spoken a word to her, so when Frenchie goes missing at school, Aurora feels guilty, but she uses her deep understanding of Frenchie and their mutual love of nature to help find him.
