About the Author
Huston C. Smith (1919 – 2016) is widely regarded as one of the world's most influential figures in religious studies. He wrote thirteen books on world's religions and philosophy; his book The World's Religions (originally titled The Religions of Man) has sold over three million copies and continues to be a popular introduction to comparative religion.
