Asking for a Friend

This is such a lovely and uplifting story about friendship and acceptance. A great and quick read. Really recommended.

This book is perfect to make you smile any time but especially in lockdown as you look forward to having your own shared adventures again. Focusing on Hattie, Agnes & Jake as they approach their GCSE exams, this book really explores real life YA friendship as we journey with them to Weston. Each character has such a distinctive voice, you feel like you know them. The teenage perspective and insight is superb. All enhanced by various life issues - although covering these well, the book manages to retain its feel good vibe throughout.

Such a lovely, happy read. I loved Agnes, Hattie and Jake so much. Such great and well written characters.
