Emilie comes across as an ordinary girl; she worries about her looks, calories, and exercise. However, for her, food represents an everyday struggle, and it's becoming difficult to hide it from her parents. Samuel is a young man from Ghana that embarks on a perilous journey to reach Europe, find work, and send money to his family. It's what all of the boys his age do to leave poverty behind and forge a better future. They take the risk, knowing it could cost them their lives.
