Crazy Rich Asians is the outrageously funny debut novel about three super rich, pedigreed Chinese families and the gossip, backbiting, and scheming that occurs when the heir to one of the most massive fortunes in Asia brings home his ABC (American-born Chinese) girlfriend to the wedding of the season.
When Rachel Chu agrees to spend the summer in Singapore with her boyfriend, Nicholas Young, she envisions a humble family home and time with the man she might one day marry. What she doesn't know is that Nick's family home happens to look like a palace, that she'll ride in more private planes than cars and that she is about to encounter the strangest, craziest group of people in existence.
The plot is excellent. Characters who are appealing.
Very interesting books. The book is about 2 people from different world (lifestyle) falling in love with each other without knowing each other background. Its happen that heroin got the rich boyfriend that live in a very simple life. So, what interesting is how acceptance of Nick's family of His choice and how Rachel can adapt to the "over-protective" family of his boyfriend that focus on more family-oriented and background while they think Rachel cares more about career success rather than leave everthing for their son.- Can relate a lot to real life.
