About the Author:

Author and HRD Corp-certified and -accredited trainer Toh Siew Pat is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) in 1993 and is a licensed Maxwell leadership coach, trainer, and speaker.

As a police inspector of the Royal Malaysian Police, he began his career in 1977. He made the switch to the private sector in 1991 and took the security manager role. In 1995, he moved up in his profession by becoming a manager of human resources. Since that time, he has successfully served as the administrative and human resources department head of various publicly traded companies until his retirement in 2020.

In 2007, he received the prestigious Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara (PJPN) award in honor of his tremendous contributions to the country. When he was asked to speak at a conference in 2004, his love for public speaking and training blossomed. Since then, he has conducted a number of internal and external training programs and served as chairperson and speaker at numerous public conferences and seminars. Additionally, he offers courses hosted by several State Labor Departments and State Industrial Relations Departments.

At the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM), Toh worked as the program facilitator for the Certificate in Human Resource Management (CHRM) and Diploma in Human Resource Management (DHRM) programs from 2007 to 2011.
