Staff Review:

This is a handy 'book' to keep. It's not the usual turn the hundred over pages of text kind of book. In fact, each page feels like a board book cover. There are only 22 pages (excluding the covers) covering 10 most frequent emergencies;

* Breathing Emergencies
* Cardiac Emergencies
* Shock
* Bleeding & Wounds
* Burns
* Heat & Cold
* Altered Conscious States
* Poison
* Bites & Stings
* Musculo-Skeletal Problems

While waiting for an ambulance or searching through the internet takes a little too long, just rushed for this book and get some answers. The wordings aren't too small, the headings are in red and blue. The are tips in straightforward sections such as "Signs and symptoms" and "What Should You Do?". Easy to understand, quick to apply. Useful for all homes. one thing though, better that you stick your local emergency numbers in the book coz the current one is for Australia.
