In an alternate 1979, when NASA’s Columbia space station is attacked by four Soviet Soyuz crafts, astronaut Vivian Carter is redirected to a NASA scientific outpost, which also falls under Soviet attack, forcing them all to perform daring acts of ingenuity and improvisation.
