How I Co-Founded an NGO: One Vision, One Future

How I Co-founded an NGO tells of how the Organisation for National Empowerment (ONE) came to life. ONE co-founder Hannah Kam shares her journey in establishing what is today one of the most vibrant and unique youth-led NGOs in Malaysia: from her early influences at home and in school, to the voluntary work she later undertook and, most recently, the continuing implementation of the objectives of ONE’s Charter. With a great deal of candour, Hannah details the various challenges she has faced thus far—both personally and collectively as part of ONE—and also sets out the plans she has for ONE’s future. She hopes this book will encourage young Malaysians to come together for the advancement of this nation, for there is nothing more powerful than that which can happen if its citizens are truly one.
