We can't control life's ups and downs-- but we can try to make our path a little smoother. Press's book is filled with simple suggestions and encouraging thoughts that offer support along your journey to a calmer, happier, tomorrow. Pages throughout are left blank, or with prompts, so you can write down responses, or whatever is on your mind. The book is a road map to feeling better-- one practice at a time. -- adapted from back cover and perusal of book
About the Author
Tori Press is an artist and writer and a highly anxious human being. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she spent ten years as a graphic designer before quitting to create a little space in her life. Drawing cartoons was what came in to fill it. Now a nearly twenty-year veteran of the benefits of therapy, she considers it an essential part of any self-care routine, and is using her art to erase the stigma that stopped her from seeking help for so long. Previously the author of I Am Definitely, Probably Enough (I Think), Press lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, two daughters, and approximately fifty-seven houseplants.
