This book also examines the most important agreements that govern patent law such as the Paris Convention Treaty (PCT), Trade Related Aspect of Intellectual Property (TRIPS) and WIPO ‐ World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). WIPO is the international governing body for IP and provides a uniform system of filing patents in member countries after a patent has been filed in the country of origin.
