The Kerrville Folk Festival (KFF), a two-week music event set within the Texas Hill Country, is one of the longest continuously running musical festivals in North America. First staged in 1972, it will celebrate its 50th anniversary in May 2021. Since 2008, David Johnson has documented the KFF, capturing the festivalgoers, Quiet Valley Ranch (host site of the festival), and its transitory yet long-standing community.
