At first glance, ‘Jalan’ is a book about photography. On closer inspection though,it is a book not only documents what goes on the streets but also within the buildings and vehicles, recording the behaviour , culture and trend of a certainperiod of time.

It is also a book that celebrates photography artistically by focusing on the visual aspect of images, be they in color or in black & white. It does not necesarily rely on the familiar or the popular ways of presenting pictures
