Jesus and the Bicameral Brain

The bicameral brain gives us access to two different perspectives and levels of consciousness. The one perspective and level of consciousness gives us access to the world and what we need to know to be in the world, while the other gives us access to God and his creation. The gospel as something to simply know and believe is very different from the gospel as someone to be. The one is epistemic and is simply a doctrine to believe, the other a spiritual journey that creates the nature and character of oureternal being. This is not the popular gospel but it is the gospel that runs throughout the history of Christianity for those who take Jesus' words seriously--
