Just Grammar Primary 1

Just Grammar aims to re-introduce the basics of English Language to students — to buildup the essential foundation required for mastery of the English Language and excellence in the English Language Examinations.

Each book in the series is written to address the all-important need to understand English grammar rules in an in-depth and progressive manner across the various levels. Grammar items are explained clearly and supplemented with abundant examples to illustrate their use in the English Language. Useful grammar notes are included for reference before students attempt the various exercises in the book. Furthermore, students are provided with ample practices of grammar items using various test formats so as to increase their knowledge of correct syntax and sentence structures.

Recognizing that using a thematic approach can encourage word associations, build up vocabulary and promote interest in learning, a thematic sample passage and related picture is used at the start of each unit to introduce a particular Grammar Focus. This serves to make learning grammar fun and interesting; more importantly, students are shown how to use the grammar items correctly
