Khalil and Mr. Hagerty and the Backyard Treasures

Khalil and his family have the upstairs apartment in the house where elderly Mr. Hagerty lives downstairs, and on hot summer days they get to know each other and trade new words, as Khalil plays outside while Mr. Hagerty gardens.
