The cover of this book features the sweetest kokeshi dolls with candy-coloured hair and kimonos to match. Inside the happy colour theme never wavers, all the while introducing even more kimono-clad characters through sticker scenes, colour-in activities and spot-the-difference pictures. Instructions for all activities are clearly explained and older girls should not have a problem understanding what to do on their own. The back part of the book are the sheets of cute stickers numbered clearly with the page numbers on which the stickers should be placed.

Quite a substantial book that little girls could be pleased to spend time with and maybe even look forward to more Kimmidoll Junior books in the future, this book promises lots of fun and highlights the importance friendship and fun.
