Learning Ladder Collection - Thomas & Friends # 3

Learning Ladder will help your child to read independently.  The four levels of LEARNING LADDER are aimed at different reading abilities, enabling you to choose the books that are exactly right for your child.

Ladder 1 - Beginning to Read

• Big type and easy words, rhyme and rhyme, picture clues
• For children who know the alphabet and are eager to begin reading.

Ladder 2 - Beginning to Read Alone

• Basic vocabulary, short sentences, simple stories
• For children who recognize familiar words and sound out new words with help

Ladder 4 - Proficient Readers

• Challenging vocabulary, short paragraphs, exciting fiction
• For children who had mastered basic reading skills

Learning Ladder is designed to give every child a successful reading experience.  The grade levels are only guides.  Children can progress through the ladders at their own speed, developing confidence in their reading, no matter what their grade.
