A good read

honestly, the book title & synopsis are really different from actual content 😅 bought this thinking that its a romance book (well, the title, book cover, even the synopsis match the romance vibes) but it turns out that the whole 400+ pages were never about romance. if im being optimistic, maybe the last 20 pages are okay? but still, not enough though.

the book is actually pretty good - great writing, great buildup. cant deny that mhairi mcfarlane is a great writer. this book talks about emotional abuse and the courage for woman to speak up for their right but it kinda turns me off that the title etc was misleading. reading this wouldve been far more delightful if they change the title, cover and synopsis into something that actually suit the content.
