95 years have passed since the Palena Conference put an end to the Great War of the Races, but with the old heroes retiring, the land stands at a moment of truth. Theo and Tei are both candidates for Magus of the Library, a key figure in preserving the peace between peoples, but Tei refuses to allow others close to her for fear of her mana harming them, and Theo can't even seem to keep things civil between him and Medina--
