For those left behind, it is a chance to build a new world. But The Doom was no ordinary virus. In some survivors, it awoke strange powers - to heal, to harm, even to predict the future.
Fallon Swift has no memories of the old world - but she is destined to shape this new one. Growing up with her three brothers on a quiet farm, she has been protected from danger by her mother and stepfather.
Now she must leave them, and learn to fight. Because Fallon is not only a powerful 'Uncanny' - she also has a pivotal role to play in the bloody battles ahead. A war between good and evil is brewing, and Fallon - young, tough, headstrong - must be ready.
This book was amazing !.Even better than the first - which doesn't happen often with sequels but the author delivered beyond anything i could have imagined.
Wow! This second book in the trilogy is as good as the first. I have read many of Nora's books including her J.D. Robb books. This trilogy is definitely different but it has a lot of her trademark elements. I really like the characters and there are quite a lot. I especially like the relationship Fallon has with her life father Simon. And of course Lana and Fallon are great together. NR has done a great job of world building and has thought of everything. I am looking forward to reading the conclusion.
This series is fantastic. It's clean and bright while also sustaining all I admire about Nora Roberts.
