About the Author

Aya Watanabe loves to explore imaginary worlds and express her inner child through art. After working in advertising for many years, she started freelancing as an illustrator. Her works range from picture books to editorial, book covers, stationery and advertisements, and was selected for Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition in 2017. Aya uses a combination of traditional media, such as acrylic, coloured pencils, crayons, and digital techniques. She lives in Tokyo, Japan.
