Passive Vibration Control Of Structures

Research in structural vibration control deals with catastrophic failures of civil structures during natural hazards. Therefore, the focus of the proposed book will be on theory of dynamic response control of structures by using different kinds of passive vibration control devices. The strategies used for controlling displacement, velocity, and acceleration of structures such as buildings and bridges under the action of dynamic loads emanating from earthquake, wind, wave, etc. will be detailed.
