This was a quick read. It's about a young woman overcoming society's expectations, restrictions, and rules while struggling to have her voice heard.

such a great and important book. great take on modern feminism in a school setting while also introducing intersectional feminism(does not go in depth, but does acknowledge it). I think it is a great book for anyone, especially someone who is interested in becoming a better ally or feminist. Also just a really good story and quick read.

This was truly a fantastic read. I mean, I unintentionally started and finished this book on the same day because of how good it was. Rules for Being a Girl is equal parts infuriating and powerful but so incredibly important. It’s the type of book that women of all ages can see themselves in as it discusses all of the unspoken “rules” we should follow in order to navigate the society we live in.

This book is an important one for all young girls. It speaks the truth, it speaks volumes, and I will cherish it.
