Shadow of Night (All Souls Trilogy #02)
Historian Diana Bishop, descended from a line of powerful witches, and long-lived vampire Matthew Clairmont have broken the laws dividing creatures. When Diana discovered a significant alchemical manuscript in the Bodleian Library, she sparked a struggle in which she became bound to Matthew. Shadow of Night finds Diana and Matthew in Elizabethan Britain. They have gone back in time to discover somebody to assist Diana learn approximately her unused found powers. Whereas there, they have all sorts of undertakings, assembly many famous individuals, and attempting to keep out of trouble.I enjoyed this a great bit more than the primary book--characters were well-written, and the story moved along at a speedier pace than I remembered. Too, this book had a much more characteristic finishing, while the primary story had such an unexpected finishing.
