Worth reading

Set in 1970's of Kelantan, the book is about the songket trader Mak Cik Maryam who’s quite bossy but kindhearted. She become a detective after a murder was committed in her own backyard. The mystery was satisfying, the setting was fantastic, and the protagonists were deeply charming.
Overall, it's a light and fun read.
