Still reading it but they are demanding a review. As with all the other Carl Hiaasen novels I've read, it's gripping and fast paced and you know that somewhere down the line, some poor sap/crook/ne'er-do-well is going to suffer at the hand (paws/teeth) of an animal.
Skink is my spirit character, we need more bonkers people with a sense of justice.
This book was a great book. It is filled with action, adventure, and a ton of other things. The main character is Richard, he is heroic, and the author did a good job of making you like him. The book takes place in Florida. Skink no Surrender was a good "read again" book. The book was also a little mysterious! This book kept the reader reading until the end. It was a good length and it had a lot of information about each character. Every time a new character comes in, the author will give you a description of how the character looks. Without giving anything away, the ending was really good. So in conclusion, this book is a really great book!
What an amazing book! The author create a weird personality main character named Skink, then make a mystery yet interesting storyline make this book fun to read. Nice!
