Two girls.
One night.
ZERO PHONES.
Kat and Stevie - best friends, theatre kids, polar opposites - have snuck away from the suburbs to spend a night in New York City. The plan is simple: see a play, eat at NYC's hottest restaurant and have the best night ever!
What isn't in the plan:
Lost phones.
A massive fight.
A Pomeranian named Brad.
Losing each other.
Now, alone in New York City without money or phones, Kat and Stevie have to figure out what to do next. But there's a dog to return, a reservation to make, a party to crash and a very cute boy to kiss.
And if they manage to do all that, they might just find their way back to each other before the clock in Grand Central strikes midnight . . .
Take Me Home Tonight (UK)
Well, I came to read this book because of the bestselling author,Morgan Matson!. As expected, it does not dissapointed me as I can feel the messages that she want to convey throughout the story. I enjoy reading the book as because of the "light" content. This book is my best companion during the lockdown >.
The themes for this novel is friendship and self discovery. If you’re looking for a quick, light read, or if you just want to feel the New York atmosphere, this book is absolutely for you.
This book got better the moment Kat and Stevie split up in New York. This forced them outside their comfort zone and made them grow separately. They gained perspective being away from one another.
