To begin with, the story was about Nikki trying to go to the prom with her crush, Brandon. Her nemesis MacKenzie come in and try to steal Brandon away from her. Nikki tries out to be prom queen, which she is guessing she will have no luck winning people's votes because her opponent is no other than MacKenzie. This girl ruined her posters and destroys her life. Well at least that is what Nikki thinks. Until she finally asks Brandon to the prom. Loved this book especially the ending. It has a great overall message of not giving up.
