Test-Taking Strategies for the USMLE Step 2 Exam

This text should serve to highlight test taking weaknesses and the skills or strategies that may be useful to improve those weaknesses. Such weaknesses include a poor approach to the exam, difficulty reasoning through concepts, difficulty categorizing information, and anchoring. These weaknesses are the focus of this text. There are also skills and strategies that are important to refine as we become expert test-takers, such as time management, approach to reviewing labs, dealing with under confidence, and re-viewing answer choices at the end of an exam. You will be lead through general and specific test taking skills and weaknesses with practice questions so that upon completion of this text, you will hopefully be fully equipped to achieve the score (and career) of your dreams--
