About the Author

Haji Mokhtar Stork, received his Islamic education at the Aleemiyah
Institute of Islamic Studies in Karachi, Pakistan. He also spent time studying
Islam in Sudan, Syria and Egypt. He holds a B. A. in Communications (OUM
University). He converted to Islam in 1960 and has been involved in avrious
Islamic activities as an educator, writer and speaker in Malaysia.
His books include the popular A-Z Guide to The Qur’an, Pearls of
Wisdom and the 3-in-1 Book, dealing with Islam and the State: Do Muslims
Need a State? (Book 1), I Am Only a Human Being Like You (Book 2), and
The Dorway to Islam (Book 3).
