About the Author
Heidi Moore Holmon is a Satin Ice Artist of Excellence and owner of De la Crème Creative Studio. Originally from England, Heidi immigrated to the United States and spent fifteen years pursuing graphic design, spent the next 15 years working in that field. In 2010, she began her journey as a self-taught cake designer.
Ever the entrepreneur, Heidi turned her cake-making hobby into a growing business. Her work has been featured in several magazines, blogs, and books like Martha Stewart Weddings and Cake Masters Magazine. In 2018 she won the Top 10 Cake Artist Award and appeared as the cover cake artist of Cake Masters Magazine in 2020.
Heidi currently resides in Saint Louis, Missouri, where she juggles creating and photographing edible works of art while raising her toddler, Grayson.
