The Development Of Malay Entrepreneurship in Malaysia

This book on the development of entrepreneurship among the majority race in Malaysia, the Malays, is based on researvh conducted for a Phd thesis and examines the success, problems, shortcomings and impacts of a public policy, which is part of the NEP, on not only the Malays, but also the Chinese, who continue to dominate in this field despite being a minority. The implementation of the policy continues as improvements are made, but the basic message of the thesis seems to remain relevant, even as the debate continues regarding the long-term effect of such a policy on attitudes and mind-sets.
