Loved It

The God Of Small Things by Arundhati Roy is painstakingly beautiful work of art and it won the Booker Prize in 1997. Set in a village named Aymanam in Kerala, India, it tells the story of multigenerational family of the fraternal twins and how one mishap leads to catastrophic disorders and ruined so many lives. This book is essentially a god of the small things in life, which leaves a ' book- shaped whole' in the mind of the readers. I loved this book & definitely recommend it !

Interesting

This book is about the twins, Esthappen and Rahel who are separated for 23 years and what led to their separation. About family love, madness, hope and infinite joy.
What's more interesting about this book is how the author explored the culture of her native India, social and colonial history. Highly recommended!
