Its A bit confused at the first chapter, but the as we read the book more further its actually a great book with a encouraging stories. The Setup is around British era and before the Japanese hit in Malaysia at WW2.

This is a fascinating and complex story that gives a good sense of the time and setting of Malaysia right before World War II and the Japanese invasion.

The Harmony Silk Factory is an excellent novel. It's also a very elegant book, flowing and delicate, gracefully hidden and revealing its treasures in the same motion.
