The Land of the Great Turtles

Recounts the Cherokee myth of how the Creator gave the Cherokee people an island with everything they could ever need on condition that they take care of it and of the animals that lived there, especially the turtles, until the children, who were supposed to look after the turtles, started to ride them instead.
