The Last Goodbye
This is a lovely story and I really felt the reality of all of the characters although I have to say Brody was a bit underdeveloped to me, I wanted to know him a bit more.
This book is about two people that is going through something so hard to get through, and they meet by a shocking phone call. They are there for each other and hopes each other through the dark times. This book was really about the light at the end of a very dark road of life. I loved the characters and the storyline in this book. I really love the ending.
The characters are well developed but there is room to be cross with them for the decisions they make, but only because we think we know better. The idea of an app to put people in touch with someone who knows is an idea that could extend into other areas. I think we all need a Brody, someone to listen without judging but with understanding. A voice in the darkest void for you to cling too.
Such a sweet, heartfelt book. In the beginning was hard for me to get into but this book is a captivating and beautifully written piece of literature.
