Jealous of Old Pat╞s superior talent in playing the harp, Young Tom secretly breaks one of his strings so that poor Old Pat can╞t play in the big contest, yet a grateful leprechaun gifts Old Pat with a golden harp just in the nick of time while Young Tom╞s harp ends up the one that is unable to be played.
