The Master Builder

Halvard Solness, a middle-aged architect, has clawed his way to prominence. His single-minded focus on his job, however, has hardened him and prevented him from having any meaningful relationship. With the arrival of Hilda Wangel, a young woman who has idolized Solness for years, Solness is encouraged to make one final, fateful grand gesture.
