With using her wisdom, knowledge and positive to raise up the status of women from around the world. She makes mention of every woman being her "teacher". She writes: “All of us have to let our hearts break; it’s the price of being present to someone who is suffering.” Your heart will break more than once when you read this book. But more often, you will be enlightened and inspired. This was an interesting and thoughtful read which to recommend.

This is a fantastic book about an amazing woman. If only we had more philanthropists like her. She and the foundation she helped co-found have made a major difference throughout the world.

She is saying, advocating and calling to action with words that are persuasive to me and are hitting me right in the heart. Gates provides little information about her own life. The women she talks about are the real heroes in their own liveThis book is very informative and the examples are on-point and realistic and the world.

This is an amazing book about how women's empowerment benefits everyone.
