The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen is the perfect romantic YA novel. A gorgeous Summer read. Open the pages and fall in love...
Emaline is spending her last summer before college in her home beach town of Colby. Everything is familiar from working for her bossy sister Margo at the family rental company to Emaline's gorgeous (and regularly shirtless) childhood sweetheart, Luke.
But when an out of town brash New York filmmaker, and her young assistant Theo, come to stay at one of the beach houses, everything Emaline thought she knew about herself changes. But can her heart let go of a life she's loved for so long?

Staff Review:
Sarah Dessen's books (for me) has always been somewhat predictable which is why I was pleasantly surprise when I got hold her of 'The Moon and More'. It is definitely different than the rest of her books. It's about a love triangle of a girl and two boys. Lots of ups and downs as such relationships can be. However, the only aspect of her book that I didn't like were the characters themselves, of whom I found to be quite annoying and obnoxious. I felt that Dessen could have done a bit more to develop them further. So while 'The Moon and More' may not be one of my favourites, I do feel that it is still worth reading.
