This is a fast paced thriller that tackles some very pertinent issues, especially in the #metoo era. There's a chilling atmosphere that pervades every page of the book and the mystery of who killed Nicole keeps you guessing until the last page - I particularly loved the plot twist in the end. The heart of the novel is about the issues that women face - bullying, sexual assault, sexual harassment and the complications that comes with friendships. Both Freya and Isla (the two POV characters) are likeable and relatable characters. I really loved Isla. This book is beautifully written, unputdownable and even after you finish reading, you're left thinking about the issues this book raises.
